Issue 15, September 2026
This month: Drova Labs and two prototypes you can click through, the ISO 27001 gap analysis beta, and the Run Good Business briefings in Melbourne and Sydney.
September 2026
Hi there,
Chantelle here. I look after product design at Drova, which means most of my time goes on the things that are not built yet. This month I wanted to show you some of them.
With Drova Labs (coming soon), you'll have the opportunity to try out everything on the product roadmap before it ships, including two new prototypes in this very issue.
If you would rather hear about it all in person, we are in Melbourne on 22 October and Sydney on 12 November. More details below.
Kind regards,
Chantelle Staples, Head of Design
Most software turns up finished. You find out what someone decided months ago, and then you live with it.
Drova Labs is the other way round. Prototypes go in before anything is settled. You open one, try it out, tell us where it helps and where it falls short, and it changes.
Built and ready to click through now: AI Mates and Connectors. A team of mates working across risk, compliance, resilience and sustainability with Sheila orchestrating them, and the sources they read wired in behind. Take the tour from the Home screen to walk through everything in a couple of minutes.
We're opening the full Drova Labs up soon. Keep an eye out!
Launching soon
File Manager brings every policy, procedure, contract and piece of evidence you use in the platform into one place, so you can see what you hold and manage it from there.
Each file links to the records it supports. A policy sits against the risk assessment it covers, a piece of evidence against the requirement it satisfies, so when someone asks for it, it's already where the work is.
It's launching soon. Have a look at the prototype in the meantime.
The beta is open
Point Sheila at your documentation and she maps it against a framework's requirements and shows you where the gaps are. ISO 27001 is the first framework out of the gate, and more are next on the roadmap, so what you learn running it now carries straight across to the other standards you report against.
Three ways to point her at it: connect AWS, connect Atlassian for Confluence and Jira, or upload your documents directly.
It's live now. Start a free trial to run it on your own documents, or ask our product team for a walkthrough.
Compliance done one obligation at a time is an eye test. Focus on one line and the rest go blurry.
The briefings are where we put the whole thing in focus. Melbourne on Thursday 22 October, Sydney on Thursday 12 November.
From eleven, risk and compliance leaders from other organisations join us and one organisation gets built end to end in front of you, in four moves. Objectives first, then the risks mapped to them, then the gap analysis running live, then the report writing itself from the evidence.
Then lunch, which is the other half of the invitation. Twelve to two, a short walk from the briefing, two hours with people carrying the same obligations you are. Your seat at the table comes with your registration.
Seats are limited. Pick your city below. If neither is convenient, we'll hold an online session too.
Melbourne. Thursday 22 October.

Lunch, 12 to 2. The Tea Room, 161 Spring Street, a short walk from the briefing.

That's everything from me this month. Labs opens shortly, and I'll be keen to hear what you make of the prototypes once it does. And if you're heading to Melbourne in October or Sydney in November, the team would love to see you there.
Thanks for reading.
