About Rachel
Rachel Riley is Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Drova. She brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, risk, compliance, and audit, with a sharp focus on how organisations turn strategy into disciplined execution.
Before founding Drova, Rachel co-founded Ansarada with Sam Riley and Andrew Slavin. Ansarada began with a simple goal: make life easier for business leaders and dealmakers by reducing risk, governing information, and generating value through intuitive data room software. Over two decades and 30,000 plus M&A deals later, Ansarada grew into a publicly listed, multi-million dollar entity. The founders sold their shares and started Drova to go all in on helping companies run better business.
Rachel’s work sits at the intersection of performance and accountability. She helps leaders embed resilience and sustainability into how the business runs, not as side programs, but as measurable priorities connected to strategic outcomes.
Her experience spans software businesses from start up through to IPO and sale, and embedding GRC across multiple industries including banking, transport, retail, professional services, SaaS, and technology.
Rachel is a Chartered Accountant and a Financial Sustainability Accountant (FSA accredited). She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a professional member of the Financial Sustainability Accountants community.

Risk Management
From risk awareness to risk assurance: Without controls, you’re only telling half the story
Most organisations already log their risks. It’s the entry point: identify what might go wrong, categorise it, assign an owner. It’s a necessary start. But it’s only a start. Because a risk without a control is little more than a worry written down. It tells you what could happen - but not how you’re preventing it, testing it, or proving it’s under control.

Operational Resilience
What happens when operational resilience fails… very publicly?
